All about the Navasartian Games

- An olympic-style event for Armenian-American athletes organized by Homenetmen Western USA
- 20 chapters from all over Western USA come to participate in various sports
- Teams and individuals have the opportunity to earn medals and trophies
- U7 and U8 divisions receive participation medals
- A festival takes place at the main venue to enjoy food, drinks, booths, and entertainment
- The games conclude with a closing ceremony where athletes, scouts, and members march with their chapter

Location & Dates for 2024

- Historically the Navasartian Games are always during July 4th weekend
- This year the games will take place: July 4-7th, 2024
- Closing ceremony will be on Sat, July 6th
- Semi-finals & championships on Sun, July 7
- The actual day of the individual sports is TBD but will be the same weekend
- Bay Area athletes are recommended to arrive in LA by July 3rd as there might be games that evening
- Schedules will be officially announced a few weeks before the games (Subject to change)
- Main Venue of Games and Festival: Birmingham High School - 17000 Haynes Street, Van Nuys
- Games can however also take place at other venues in the surrounding area

- Some families choose to stay with family or friends who live in Los Angeles
- Each family arranges their own transportation

Soccer - U7 Divisions and up
Basketball - U7 and up (Ani Chapter currently has U7-U14 Divisions)
Volleyball - (Ani Chapter currently has no team)
Swimming - U7/8 Divisions and up
Track & Field - U7/8 Divisions and up
Ping-Pong - U8/U9 Divisions and up
Tennis - U8/U9 Divisions and up
Chess - 12 and under, 17 and under, 18 and older

-Participation of a team sport is not guaranteed until we ensure there are enough athletes signed up to participate in that division
-Please respect the registration deadline of April 21st so that we can form teams accordingly

- Athletes can participate in more than one sport, if there is a scheduling conflict we will do our best to let the tournament organizer know, or the athlete can choose which sport they prefer to participate in
- Navasartian t-shirt/Jersey will be provided
- Must be at least 6 years old to participate

Tournament Fee

Due to the recent fundraising efforts, 60% of Navasartian 2024 participation fees will be covered by Homenetmen Ani Chapter. Updated participation fees per athlete are as follow:

Soccer: $50
Individual Sports: $40 (Chess is free)

An invoice will be sent directly to each family from Homenetmen Ani account

Registration

- Navasartian registration deadline is April 21st
- Athletes will be participating under Homenetmen Santa Clara ANI Chapter
- Submit the registration form below to sign-up for the games
- Priority on a roster will be given to those athletes that are active in our Ani Marzigs programs
- Participation of a team sport is not guaranteed until we ensure there are enough athletes signed up to participate in that division
